We grow it, grade it
and put it on the plane
JASM Flowers is a Kenyan grower and exporter of summer flowers, foliage and roses, selling direct to the people who actually make the bouquets.
Who we are
A short chain,
on purpose
Most Kenyan flowers reach a European florist through three or four hands. Farm, exporter, auction, wholesaler. Every hand adds a day and a margin, and the flower pays for both.
We sell the other way round. You order from us, we cut it, and it flies to you. That is one fewer week in a box and a price that reflects the stem rather than the number of people who touched it.
Our own programme covers 150+ hectares between Naivasha and the slopes of Mount Kenya, backed by a small group of partner farms we audit ourselves.

Our farms
From the lakeside
to the mountain
Two growing regions, deliberately. Weather that ruins a crop in Naivasha rarely touches Mount Kenya in the same week, so a standing order does not fail because of one storm.
Naivasha, 1,900 m
Lakeside blocks on volcanic soil. Our main solidago, limonium and statice ground, and the reason we can hold filler volume all year.
Mount Kenya, 2,100–2,400 m
Cooler and higher. Eucalyptus, delphinium, hydrangea and the roses that need real altitude to build a head worth selling.
Audited partners
Nominated farms for garden roses and Austin varieties, visited by us, on our spec. If a farm will not take an unannounced visit, we do not buy from it.

Quality control
Graded against your
spec, not ours
A house standard is comfortable for the exporter and useless to the buyer. Your stem length, bunch weight, stem count and cut stage are written into the order and that sheet is what the table checks against.
Anything off spec does not travel. It is cheaper for us to leave a bunch in Nairobi than to credit a box in Rotterdam, and it is a great deal cheaper for you.
Ask and you get a photo of your actual pallet before it leaves. Not a stock photo, and not the good bunch off the top.
Standards
Certification
European retail will not touch flowers without a paper trail, and nor should it. These are the schemes our programme is built to.

Send us a list.
We send back a price.
Tell us the lines, the lengths and roughly what volume per week. You get a written quote with grade, pack and freight inside one working day, and a trial box before you commit to a programme.
